Celebrating 500 WordPress Agencies: Thank You for Scaling with WPDistro

Milestones are more than just numbers—they represent trust, community, and a shared vision for a better way to build on the web.

On September 5th, 2020, we reached a monumental milestone that our team has been working toward for years: WPDistro officially welcomed our 500th WordPress agency partner!

From our early days supporting our first 50 agencies to scaling up across hundreds of complex client ecosystems, reaching this milestone is a testament to the incredible developers, freelancers, and agency leaders who chose to ditch the maintenance tax and embrace a smarter workflow.

Why Reaching 500 Agencies Changes Everything

Managing a handful of client sites is one thing, but orchestrating updates, licensing, and deployments across hundreds—and sometimes thousands—of active WordPress installations is a massive operational challenge.

When growing agencies cross the threshold into high-volume client management, traditional bottlenecks become unsustainable:

• Exploding Software Costs: Paying individual retail license fees for dozens of plugins across hundreds of client sites drains agency profitability.
• Maintenance Drag: Hours lost to manual .zip downloads, expired license keys, and repetitive update checks mean fewer billable hours spent on client growth.
• Security Windows: Delaying patches due to administrative friction leaves client sites vulnerable to exploits.

By partnering with WPDistro, our community of 500+ agencies took control of their infrastructure. With our centralized repository of 3,000+ premium plugins, instant one-click installs, and fully automated dashboard updates, our partner agencies have successfully cut overhead, eliminated licensing headaches, and scaled their operations with complete peace of mind.

What Drives Us Forward

Reaching 500 agencies isn’t a finish line—it is fuel for our next chapter. As our platform and repository continue to expand, our core commitments remain unwavering:

• Unmodified, Verified Source Code: Delivering original plugins and themes you can trust in any production stack.
• Frictionless Automation: Ensuring upstream updates flow seamlessly straight to your native WordPress dashboards.
