Terms of Service.

1. Nature of the Service

WPDistro provides subscription-based repository access, synchronization tools, and automated update infrastructure for WordPress development workflows. Our service is intended for development, testing, staging, learning, and related non-production environments.

Your subscription provides access to WPDistro's infrastructure and services. It does not represent a transfer of copyright ownership in third-party software, nor does it provide official licenses, support, hosted services, or other proprietary services offered separately by individual software developers.

2. Software Licensing

Software made available through WPDistro remains subject to its applicable software license. Where software is distributed under the GNU General Public License (GPL), the rights and obligations provided by that license continue to apply.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove, restrict, or replace rights that users receive under an applicable open-source license. Users are responsible for complying with the license terms applicable to software they use, modify, or redistribute.

3. Development & Testing Use

WPDistro is designed and offered for development, testing, staging, prototyping, learning, and similar workflows. The service is not intended to replace commercial licenses, support subscriptions, warranties, hosted services, or other offerings provided by original software developers for production use.

Users are responsible for determining whether additional licenses, subscriptions, services, or permissions are required for their particular production deployment.

4. User Responsibility

• Account Security:You are responsible for keeping your account credentials, access tokens, and API credentials secure.
• License Compliance:You are responsible for complying with the applicable license terms of software obtained through the service.
• Local Control:WPDistro does not manage your private WordPress database, server infrastructure, or website content.
• No Credential Reselling:Sharing, reselling, sublicensing, or commercially redistributing access to your WPDistro account or private infrastructure credentials is prohibited.

5. Third-Party Software & Brands

WPDistro is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, authorized by, endorsed by, or officially connected with Automattic Inc., WordPress.org, or the third-party developers and companies whose software may be referenced or made available through the service.

Product names, trademarks, logos, and other brand identifiers remain the property of their respective owners. References to third-party products are made for identification and compatibility purposes.

6. Service Availability & Updates

WPDistro attempts to provide reliable repository and update infrastructure but does not guarantee that every update will be available immediately after an upstream release.

Update availability may be affected by upstream changes, source availability, compatibility issues, infrastructure maintenance, or other technical circumstances.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WPDISTRO AND ITS CONTRIBUTORS PROVIDE THE SERVICE AND RELATED INFRASTRUCTURE ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, completely error-free, compatible with every environment, or free from every possible defect.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WPDISTRO, ITS FOUNDERS, CONTRIBUTORS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

This includes, where permitted by law, losses arising from plugin conflicts, compatibility issues, software defects, database errors, data loss, downtime, security incidents, or changes introduced by third-party software.

9. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless WPDistro, its founders, contributors, and affiliates from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from your material violation of these Terms, misuse of the service, or infringement of third-party rights.

10. Account Suspension & Termination

WPDistro may suspend or terminate an account where there is a material violation of these Terms, including credential sharing, unauthorized resale of WPDistro access, abuse of infrastructure, or activity that creates a significant security or operational risk.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of WPDistro after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws applicable to WPDistro's operating jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory legal protections that apply to you. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts having authority under applicable law.
